The Zeliangrong United Front has made a heartfelt appeal to both the Kuki and Naga communities to release all the remaining innocent hostages immediately, based on humanitarian grounds.
At this crucial moment, holding onto hostages will not lead to any positive outcomes instead, it will only deepen mistrust and widen the gap between both communities says ZUF in a release issued on Saturday.
"We must prioritize human lives and dignity above all our differences. Continuing to hold hostages will only heighten tensions, foster further misunderstandings, and undermine the chances for peaceful coexistence and mutual respect among neighboring communities" ZUF stated.
The Zeliangrong United Front calls on all parties involved to act with wisdom, restraint, and compassion by ensuring the safe and unconditional release of the hostages as soon as possible.
Meanwhile the Zeliangrong United Front (Kamson) demands the immediate and unconditional release of all abducted and hostage ZeliangrongInpui villagers within 24 hours at Leilon Vaiphei village kangpokpi district.
Failure to comply shall compel the ZUF to intensify operations to rescue its people and defend the dignity, security, and ancestral rights of the Zeliangrong Inpui community, the front warned in a statment issued on Saturday
"Any harm caused to the innocent hostages shall be the sole responsibility of the perpetrators and their supporters. The patience of the Zeliangrong Inpui people must not be mistaken for weakness" ZUF( Kamson) stated .
