Youths in Churachandpur, Manipur Support CJP Protest, Stage Demonstration and Poster Campaign in the District

A group of like-minded youths in Churachandpur district of Manipur came out to show their support for the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) and Sonam Wangchuk.

Youths from different communities in thedistrict gathered at the public groundon Saturday and staged a protest while holding placards with various messages.

Later, the youths carried out a poster campaign across the town by pasting posters onwalls and at other public places.

One of the protesters, Moi, said that they are a group of like-minded youths from different communities in Churachandpur district who had gathered to express theirsupport for CJP and Sonam Wangchuk.

Moi said, "His demand is simple. He is asking for the current Education Minister, Dharmendra Pradhan, to resign and for genuine reforms in the education system. As students, wealso support his demands and this protest."

She said that they would launch a poster campaign and intensify their protests in the district.

Moi further said that more than 10 NEET aspirants had died by suicide this year and thatit was not the first such incident, adding thatsuch tragedies continue to happen repeatedly.

The student added that money cannotbring back innocent lives.
