Kangpokpi District Bar Association Elects New Office Bearers for 2026–2028

The Kangpokpi District Bar Association (KDBA) has elected its new office bearers for the 2026–2028 term, following the resolution adopted at its meeting held on September 22, 2026.

The election was conducted among advocates enrolled and recorded with the Bar in accordance with Resolution Nos. 3 and 4(iv) adopted during the Association’s meeting on April 20, 2024.

The newly elected office bearers are:

1. Seikholen Lupho – President
2. Kaiminlun Chongloi – Vice President
3. S. Paul Touthang – Secretary
4. Sarita Ranapailie – Assistant Secretary
5. Anjali Pradhan – Treasurer

Laljangam Hangshing and Thangjalen Khongsai were elected as Auditors.

The election was conducted under the supervision of Lamkhovah Kipgen, Election Presiding Officer; Lamneichong Haokip, Returning Officer; and S.T. Thangthianmang Vaiphei, Election Commission Member.

The election proceedings were held alongside the celebration of the 4th Foundation Day of the Kangpokpi District Bar Association, which was observed with a grand programme at the Court Complex in Kangpokpi.

Lamkholal Kipgen, MJS, District and Sessions Judge, Senapati, attended the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Guests of Honour were Robert Lhungdim, MJS, Chief Judicial Magistrate/Civil Judge (Senior Division), Senapati, and J. Hillson Angam, MJS, Judicial Magistrate First Class/Civil Judge (Junior Division), Kangpokpi.

The newly elected KDBA President, Seikholen Lupho, was also among the dignitaries at the Foundation Day celebration.
