Free Health Check up drive for Internally Displaced Persons continues in Churachandpur

 In continuation of the free health check-up drive for Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs), District Administration, Churachandpur on Friday organised medical camps as part of the month-long "Seva Sankalp Abhiyan".

The camps were conducted under the overall supervision of Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Ph. Henkhoneng Mate.

A team led by Dr. Lalboi Haokip visited the Prefabricated Relief Camp at Torbung (Market Shed) under Kangvai Sub-Division, which presently accommodates 39 families. 28 inmates were examined and provided free medicines as per requirement.

Similarly, under the guidance of Dr. Kimboi Vaiphei, health check-ups were continued at Saikot ITI and Saikot SDO Complex Relief Camps, Saikot Sub-Division. These camps currently house 37 households with 189 inmates, out of which around 47 inmates were examined and given free medicines.
