
Dhanamanjuri University (DMU), Imphal, has formally signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Miranda House, Delhi University,
The signing ceremony, hosted at the Miranda House Campus, Delhi University, was attended by the Vice Chancellor of DMU, Principal of Miranda House Prof. Bijayalaxmi Nanda, Registrar of DMU, a Dean of DMU, Dr Geetanjali Elangbam, Faculty, Deptt. Of Botany, Miranda House and officials from both institutions and State Government.
On the same occasion, a specific Letter of Intent (LoI) was exchanged between DMU and the Botany Department of Miranda House to advance botanical research, environmental studies, and sustainable practices.
This targeted collaboration will facilitate joint field studies, resource sharing, and specialized workshops. This strategic partnership aims to bridge the geographical gap between Manipur and the national capital by establishing a robust framework for academic synergy.
The MoU paves the way for joint academic programs, faculty exchange, student mobility, and cross-disciplinary research. This milestone significantly expands DMU’s national academic footprint, offering its students and faculty enhanced platforms for innovation and institutional growth. (DIPR)
