Three Kuki-Zo Shifted from RIMS Imphal to Churachandpur District Hospital

The three Kuki-Zo individuals who were recently injured in an incident in Kangpokpi district and admitted to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), Imphal, were brought to Churachandpur district on Wednesday.

The three individuals were taken to Churachandpur District Hospital on Wednesday and have been admitted to the hospital's surgical ward.

According to authorities, investigations are ongoing, and officials are yet to provide details regarding the present condition of the three persons.

Attempts were made to ascertain their condition from the hospital authorities; however, the Medical Superintendent was preoccupied with other duties as of today.

It is learnt that one of the three injured persons, an athlete associated with Mohun Bagan Football Club, will be taken to Kolkata for further treatment. However, it has not been confirmed when the transfer will take place.

The three injured individuals are Genlenmang Vaiphei (15), Paogoulal Chongloi (18), and Lunliandam Vaiphei (20).
