St.Mary’s Hr.Sec.School in Churachandpur celebrates  Golden Jubilee

St Mary’s Higher Secondary School in Churachandpur district of Manipur which is considered to be one of the best educational institutions in the district as well as the State celebrates 50 years of its establishment on Friday.

Located in a quiet and peaceful location near the old Churachandpur deputy commissioner office, St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School has been one of the most sought after by the people of the district and other districts as well and many former students from the school have excelled in different fields.

Many alumni of the institution, well-wishers, VIPS joined the jubilee celebration along with the students and staff of the institution.

Saikot MLA Paolienlal Haokip unveiled the Jubillee monolith followed by ribbon cutting along with Singat MLA Chinlunthang. His Grace Most Reverend Linus Neli DD, Archbishop of Imphal inaugurated the Jubille Pillar and by Most Rev. Domnic Lumon DD Archbishop Emeritus Archdiocese of Imphal released the Jubilee Souvenir.

Celebrated with the them To God be the Glory,  the celebration was marked with Prayer Dance performed by St. Marians, performance  by Jubilee Choir, band display by St. Mary’s band, action song performance by Kindergarten children’s, Echo Pair dance performance by primary section, cultural blends by St. Marians, performance by High School Section and Alumni band and Halleluya Chorus performance by Jubilee choir and many more.

 While speaking at the event Paolienlal Haokip while comparing life as a movie advised the students that they should be the actors of the movie to lead a meaningful and successful life.
