NPO Suspends Plans to Halt Economic Supplies in Kuki Areas

The Naga Peoples’ Organisation (NPO) has temporarily suspended its proposed plan to halt all economic supplies in Kuki areas.

In a release issued on Wednesday, the NPO stated that: “The proposed halting of all economic supplies in the Kuki area, scheduled to commence from midnight of November 5, 2025, in protest against the desecration of the poster of Eno Th. Muivah, Hon’ble Ato Kilonser of GPRN, and the detonation of a huge firecracker that caused panic among the local residents of Daili Village on October 29 and 30, 2025, has been temporarily suspended for a period of ten (10) days.”

The decision was taken following an official appeal from the Kuki Inpi Sadar Hills, which has taken full responsibility for the incident and assured to apprehend the culprit(s) within ten days.
