Mizoram Assembly Recognises ‘Ro Min Relsak Ang Che’ as State Official Song

The unanimous adoption of the resolution formally establishes “Ro Min Relsak Ang Che” as Mizoram’s State Official Song.

The Mizoram Legislative Assembly has unanimously adopted a resolution to recognise “Ro Min Rel Sak Ang Che” as the State Official Song of Mizoram  on Thursday.

The resolution moved by House Leader and Chief Minister Lalduhoma on the second day of the 7th Session of the 9th Mizoram Legislative Assembly was unanimously approved by the House.

The song Ro min Relsak Ang Che composed by renowned Mizo musician and composer Rokunga, has been popularly regarded as Mizoram’s State Song, even though it was not formally recognised by the government.

The unanimous adoption of the resolution formally establishes “Ro Min Relsak Ang Che” as Mizoram’s State Official Song.
