A Mega APAAR ID Camp was successfully conducted at Pherzawl Higher Secondary School on Monday by the Zonal Education Office (ZEO), Pherzawl, under the overall supervision of T Khelchandra Singh, MES, ZEO Pherzawl.
The camp aimed to create awareness and facilitate the generation of APAAR (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) IDs for students. Educational institutions including Pherzawl Higher Secondary School, PMS Pherzawl, RMS Pherzawl, Parbung Higher Secondary School, and JSS Parbung actively participated in the programme.
Around 30 students, accompanied by seven parents, attended the hands-on training session titled “How to Generate APAAR ID.” The programme provided practical guidance on the registration process and highlighted the importance of APAAR IDs in creating a unified academic identity for students across the country.
During the camp, participants received step-by-step assistance from resource persons, enabling them to understand and navigate the digital platform effectively. A total of 14 APAAR IDs were generated on the spot, marking a significant step towards strengthening digital education records in the district.
The training was conducted by Thanminlian Zou and Emmanuel Lalsansuok of ZEO Pherzawl, who served as Master Trainers and Resource Persons. They guided students and parents through the registration process and addressed queries related to APAAR implementation. (DIO Pherzawl)
