
Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh today launched eight online portals and the “LR Manipur” mobile application of Land Resources Department at MSFDS, Palace Compound, Imphal.
Addressing the gathering, Yumnam Khemchand Singh highlighted that the Land Resources Department, in the past, faced many inconveniences in managing land records that were more than 50 years old, some of which were in a dilapidated condition. These inconveniences will be significantly addressed with these online portals and the mobile application, he added.
Khemchand Singh appreciated Th. Kirankumar Singh, Secretary, Land Resources, and his dedicated team for these new transformative initiatives and for documenting and keeping land records in a digital format with transparency and accountability.
Thanking the officers of the Land Resources Department, the Chief Minister said that those officers who have rendered their services with dedication even during these challenging times are highly appreciated. The opening of such portals will enable the department to maintain land records in a very transparent manner, he added.
The Portals are Permission for Registration Portal, Change of Land Use Portal, Allotment of Land Portal, Land Acquisition Portal, GIS-based Management of Villages Portal, Single Digital Gateway (https://www.elandmanipur.mn.gov.in/), Revenue Court Case Management System (RCCMS) and Online Payment of Land Revenue through Loucha Pathap.
The launch programme was attended by Home Minister Govindas Konthoujam, Art & Culture Minister Kh. Loken Singh, Secretary, Land Resources, Th. Kiran Kumar Singh, Deputy Commissioners, SDOs, SDCs, among others. (DIPR)
