ITLF shifts venue for sit in protest

The Indigenous Tribal Leaders' Forum (ITLF) has informed the public that  the venue for the sit-in protest  scheduled for Monday has been changed.

Earlier, the sit in protest was schedule to be held at Torbung. However, ITLF in a release issued later on Sunday afternoon stated that the venue has been changed  changed to T. Munjang Village and the sit in will begin from 11 in the morning

ITLF stated that the protest will be staged in protest against the repeated breaching of the buffer zone and the alleged planting of explosives beyond the buffer zone, which pose a serious threat to peace, security, and public safety.

Stating that the protest will remain strictly peaceful and disciplined. Public cooperation and unity are crucial in raising our collective voice against these grave provocations, ITLF requested all concerns to attend and participate in the peaceful sit in protest.
