Haulianlal Guite Completes Ph.D., Receives Fulbright-Humphrey Fellowship in US

Haulianlal Guite, currently serving as Commissioner, Food Safety & Drug Control in Jaipur, Rajasthan, has completed his doctorate in Political Science from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT), Jaipur this week. His thesis is titled “An Analysis of Digital Media’s Impact on Contemporary Political Doxa.”

It is reported that in the coming week, Haulianlal Guite will proceed on study leave to the University of Minnesota, USA, under the Fulbright-Humphrey Fellowship.

It has also been learned that he has received consent from both the Government of India and the Government of Rajasthan for the fellowship.

During his tenure as Commissioner and Special Secretary, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Rajasthan, in August 2024, Haulianlal was awarded in the Gold Category for an e-governance project by the Government of India for innovating the AI-enabled Rajsilicosis portal in Rajasthan.

The Humphrey Fellowship is a prestigious mid-career leadership exchange program organized by the U.S. Department of State and is part of the Fulbright Program. It enhances leadership among international professionals who collaborate to address local and global challenges and foster change for the collective good.
