Football Club and Academy Coaches in Lamka predict an Interesting World Cup Final

As the world prepares to witness the most prestigious and widely watched single-sport tournament on the planet, football club and academy coaches in Churachandpur have expressed mixed opinions on which team will win the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Zom Gangte, head coach of Ganggam Soccer Club, said the final match would be very interesting since both teams are in good form.

"Argentina, as a team, has a never-give-up spirit, while Spain has talented and energetic players," he said.

When asked whether Lionel Messi could score three goals in the final to become the tournament's top scorer, Zom said, "That will be difficult. Even in the semi-final, he could not score. However, he still played an important role by creating scoring opportunities for his teammates."

Zom predicted that the final would go into extra time or even be decided by a penalty shootout. Although he is a fan of the Spain national team, he declined to predict which team would win the final.

Lun Kuki, also known as Lunaldo Kuki, head coach of Ganggam Soccer Club (Under-18), said, "This World Cup, I am supporting Spain because I like the way they dominate the game and play as a team."

Regarding his opinion on who would become the World Cup champions, Lun said that anything can happen in football and that it is going to be an exciting match.

Lun said Argentina's team spirit and fighting spirit are very strong. He added that the team's mentality is admirable and exceptional.

He said key players such as Lionel Messi and several others in the Argentina squad can make a huge difference when the team needs them the most. However, he added that it would be difficult for Messi to score three goals in the final. Lun said he would be supporting Spain in the final.

Samuel Haokip, head of youth development at Pehlum Lamhil Lawm Football Academy, predicted that Argentina would score one goal in normal time (90 minutes) and that the defending champions would retain their World Cup title.

Commenting on whether Lionel Messi could finish as the tournament's top scorer, Samuel said Messi might score one goal during the match, but he would not be able to score three goals to claim the Golden Boot.

Preparations are underway in different places to screen the World Cup final on big screens. One such event is being organised at Geljang Resort. Children have been seen wearing the jerseys of the teams they support, while vehicles are being decorated with the national flags of their favourite teams.
