CM Chairs Unified Command Meeting to Review Law and Order in Manipur

The meeting deliberated extensively on the current security scenario and discussed measures to ensure stability and maintain peace across the state.

Following the incident at Tronglaobi on Tuesday,  Manipur Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand Singh chaired a Combined Headquarters Security Meeting (Unified Command) at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat on Wednesday.

The high level meeting attended by Home Minister Govindas Konthoujam, along with the Security Advisor, Chief Secretary, Director General of Police (DGP) Manipur, 3 Corps Commander, and other senior officials was reviewed the prevailing law and order situation in the state.

The meeting deliberated extensively on the current security scenario and discussed measures to ensure stability and maintain peace across the state. 

Top officials from the Indian Army, Assam Rifles, Border Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, Sashastra Seema Bal, other central security forces, and intelligence agencies were also present.
