The Senapati District Students Association (SDSA) has made a public declaration that the allegations attempting to link the President of SDSA to the alleged abduction and hostage issue involving members of the Kuki community are all baseless and misleading.

"We state clearly and unequivocally that the President of SDSA has no involvement in any unlawful activity. These accusations are a deliberate attempt to damage reputations, create communal tension, and spread misinformation", DSA issued a statement on Saturday.

The association stated that it will not remain silent in the face of propaganda, intimidation, or politically motivated defamation.

SDSA strongly warn all rumor-mongers, fake propagandists, sponsored agents,  irresponsible platforms spreading such poisonous lies to  stop the campaign immediately, or be prepared to face the full consequences of their actions legally, socially, and publicly.

SDSA cautioned that  every individual involved in manufacturing or circulating these false allegations will be exposed before the people and held accountable through every democratic and lawful means available.

The association stated that those attempting to ignite communal hatred and instability through fabricated narratives must understand that the people are no longer blind to manipulation and deceit.

SDSA will resist every attempt to weaponize lies against our leaders and our community and that the association stands united and firm in defending the truth and the dignity of its people.

"No campaign of falsehood or intimidation can weaken our collective resolve. Truth cannot be buried by propaganda. Justice cannot be defeated by lies", SDSA stated while adding that those who conspire against the innocent will answer before the people and the law.

The student body also stated that the time has come for the Kuki community to choose between reconciliation and ruin and resolve the conflict with wisdom and courage, or face the consequences that history never forgets.
