The event began with a colourful HGT rally where students proudly paraded through the streets holding the tricolour and spreading the message of national pride and unity. At the school premises, students actively participated in various competitions organised to mark the occasion. Winners were announced immediately and prizes were presented on the spot.

In a parallel initiative, the District Administration of Pherzawl in association with District Social Welfare Office and ZEO Pherzawl conducted various competitions at the same venue under the Nasha Mukht Bharat Abhiyan. Competitions including painting, slogan writing and logo designing were conducted on the theme “Drug Free Youth Developed India”.
