The election was held at the TKLS head office in Kangpokpi District Headqaurters in the presence of leaders of the Thadou Inpi General Headquarters (GHQ).
Following the election, the newly elected office-bearers took the oath of office administered by Kipgen while Rev Thangneo Haokip offered a blessing prayer for the new executive members.
Addressing the gathering, Thadou Inpi GHQ president Chongpu Kipgen lauded the outgoing TKLS executive members for their contribution to the publication of academic textbooks and promotion of literature.
Kipgen underscored the importance of literature as a means of preserving and strengthening a community's identity and urged the newly elected members to pursue their work with consistency despite limited financial and moral support.
