Security forces destroy poppy plants

Security Forces destroyed poppy plants cultivated over a total area of 30 acres in Songlung village and at the adjacent area of Lhangjol and Waphong villages under Kangchup police station, Kangpokpi district on Sunday.

As per the police, three farm huts, three fertilizer bags and two sacks of salt found at the sites were destroyed. The police also found two burnt gypsy vehicles from the site
