NCC Day Celebrated with Pride and Patriotic Fervour at Kangpokpi

The celebration not only highlighted the achievements of NCC cadets in Kangpokpi but also reinforced its mission of creating responsible, capable, and service-driven citizens for the nation

The NCC Alumni Kangpokpi District marked the District Level NCC Day Celebration 2025 with exceptional zeal, discipline, and patriotic spirit today at the ADC Hall, Kangpokpi, bringing together cadets, officers, alumni, and distinguished dignitaries in a remarkable display of unity and national commitment.

The event was graced by Rajesh Kumar, Deputy Inspector General of Police, CRPF, as the Chief Guest, whose presence added immense significance to the celebration. Lamminlal Simte, Assistant Commissioner, Kangpokpi, attended as the Guest of Honour, while Henminthang Kipgen, Officer-in-Charge, Kangpokpi Police Station, served as the Functional President of the function.

The programme began with the solemn arrival of dignitaries, followed by a smart and spirited March Past, Salute, and National Anthem, which set the tone for a dignified and disciplined celebration befitting the National Cadet Corps.

The formal session commenced with Cadet Eunice Lamngailhing Chongloi as the host, ensuring smooth coordination of the proceedings. The celebration featured a series of engaging performances and addresses.

Senior Thangkhanlal Lhouvum delivered keynote address highlighting the vital role of NCC in nation-building as Lighthouse NCC performed a cultural dance portraying India’s cultural richness.

Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) Gamnom Saparmeina performer solo and presented a thrilling Choreography showcasing talent, discipline, and teamwork.

In recognition of outstanding commitment, discipline, and exemplary performance, Sergeant Lamruthmoi Kipgen of EMRS Gamnom Saparmeina and Cadet Lamnunnem Singson, of Lighthouse English School, Kangpokpi were specially honoured as Best Cadets 2025.

Their achievements stood out as a testament to the strength, talent, and dedication of the NCC in Kangpokpi.

In his address, Chief Guest Rajesh Kumar commended the cadets for upholding the values of unity, discipline, and service. He emphasized that the NCC continues to be one of the strongest youth-building platforms in the country, fostering leadership and national integrity.

Guest of Honour Lamminlal Simte praised the enthusiasm and discipline of the cadets, urging them to continue pursuing excellence both in service and academics.

The event concluded with the symbolic rendering of the NCC Song, echoing the spirit of courage, patriotism, and readiness to serve the nation.
