
The Governor of Manipur, Ajay Kumar Bhalla, on Thursday launched the B.Sc Nursing course at the College of Nursing, Churachandpur.
The government has upgraded the GNM Nursing Schools at Churachandpur and Thoubal into B.Sc Nursing Colleges with 70 seats, supported by the Government of India at a cost of ₹6 crore and ₹7 crore, respectively.
Through video conference, the Governor launched the B.Sc Nursing course for the College of Nursing, Churachandpur, and the College of Nursing, Thoubal, during the closing function of the Nation First @75 campaign held at City Convention, Imphal.
The B.Sc Nursing College in Churachandpur will have an intake capacity of 40 students, and the admission process will continue until October 8.
Carolyn, Principal-in-Charge of the GNM School of Nursing, appealed to the public to extend their cooperation so that the College of Nursing in Churachandpur can become a center for nurturing aspiring nurses.
