Locals took to the streets in support of MP Bimol Akoijam

Locals took to the streets at Singjamei, Imphal on Sunday in support of Congress MP Angomcha Bimol Akoijam.

The rally started from the residence of Oinam Romen, a candidate in the last assembly election from Singjamei assembly constituency and proceeded towards Singjamei Super Market.

The demonstartors including both women and men raised slogans such as “We support Oja Bimol” ,  “The allegations are not reasonable”,

Despite several attempts by the security forces to stop the rally at different locations along the route, the demonstrators continued their march and later returned before Singjamei Super Market,
