Kuki Students’ Organisation Felicitates Subject Toppers of Churachandpur District

After a gap of two years owing to the conflict, the Kuki Students’ Organisation Churachandpur organised a felicitation and award-cum-blessing ceremony for subject-wise toppers of Churachandpur district under the Council of Higher Secondary Education Manipur (COHSEM).

Organised by the Department of Education, Kuki Students’ Organisation Churachandpur, the function was held at Le Zara Hotel, Churachandpur District.

Cash awards and mementoes were given to Kimlunmawi (Arts stream), Priscilla Lalchullo (Science), and Niangmalswam (Commerce).

The students awarded as MIL toppers were:
Esther Hatfelkim (Gangte), Lhingneikim Haokip (Thadou-Kuki), Annie R. Varte (Hmar), Sonliankhup Biangtung (Paite), Lamhoiniang (Vaiphei), M. Ngamminlen (Kom), Nancy Dimngaikim (Zou), and Victoria Lalzawmkimi (Mizo).

School of the Year was awarded to Sielmat Christian Higher Secondary School (COHSEM) and Salt Brook School (BOSEM).

At the function, the Superintendent of Police Churachandpur, Prakhar Pandey; SDO Tuibong, Jangminlen Lupho; Principal JNV Tuinom, Vikram Singh; Principal, Churachandpur Government College, Siamkhum Guite; and PRO to MLA, 57 Henglep Assembly Constituency, Samuel Guite, graced the event as distinguished guests.
