The Kuki Students’ Organisation (KSO) Sadar Hills has launched Special Free Coaching for Class VI JNVST 2025–2026, marking a bold step in its education reformation policy. The programme, themed “Education is the Mother of Leadership”, was inaugurated today at the KSO Sadar Hills Adminstrative office in Kangpokpi Town.

Captain Vivek, 16 Assam Rifles, Officer-in-Charge Kangpokpi Police Station, Inspector H. Kipgen, and Gunchu Coaching Institute Proprietor Thangboi Haokip attended as special guests, while Pastor Kaison Gangte ministered blessings and prayers.

Forty students, including displaced children from relief camps across Sadar Hills, have enrolled. Regular classes begin October 2 and will continue until the entrance test.

Dignitaries stressed education’s role in building future leaders and urged students to persevere despite hardships. Pastor Kaison inspired them spiritually, dedicating the programme to the community’s collective vision.

The initiative, supported by Gunchu Coaching Institute’s qualified teachers, aims to bridge learning gaps, uplift underprivileged children, and ensure equal access to quality education.

Expressing gratitude to sponsors, teachers, and community leaders, KSO leader said, “This endeavour is not just about an entrance exam—it is about giving hope, equity, and leadership to a new generation of Sadar Hills students.”

The free coaching is another milestone in KSO’s broader mission to reform and democratize education in the hills. Similar coaching will begin in Saikul Block under KSO Saikul from October 6.
