
The Kangpokpi District Bar Association (KDBA) today celebrated its 3rd Foundation Day at the KDBA Hall with a solemn yet spirited program attended by dignitaries from the legal fraternity.
Robert Lhungdim, Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM)/Civil Judge (Sr. Division) and Secretary, District Legal Services Authority (DLSA) Senapati, and Lamneichong Haokip, Additional Public Prosecutor (APP), Government Advocate and Civil Judge (Sr. Division), Senapati, graced the occasion as Special Guests. Advocate Seikholen Lupho, President of KDBA, presided over the function as the Functional President.
In his keynote address, Robert Lhungdim emphasized the essence of humility, dedication, and perseverance in legal practice, while underlining the indispensable role of the legal profession in upholding justice and fairness in society.
Lamneichong Haokip, in her remarks, highlighted the need to collectively strengthen the legal profession and stressed its evolving responsibility in bridging the gap between law and society.
KDBA President Advocate Seikholen Lupho, while tracing the challenges faced during the establishment of the Bar Association, urged members to extend cooperation and solidarity in building a stronger association. He also appealed for the nurturing of cordial relations between the Bench and the Bar, affirming that such harmony was vital for an effective justice delivery system inside and outside the courtroom.
The Foundation Day observance concluded successfully with renewed commitment among members to further the cause of justice and professional integrity.
