In a major outreach drive, the District Administration, Churachandpur, officially launched the Dharti Aaba Abhiyan - Awareness and Benefit Saturation Camps today at Molnom Community Hall in Tuibong. The campaign, which runs through June 30, 2025, aims to deliver key government entitlements directly to citizens via a series of village- and cluster-level benefit saturation camps across the Churachandpur district.
Spearheaded by Deputy Commissioner Dharun Kumar S, the initiative mobilizes a cross-departmental task force of 14 government departments—including Health, Social Welfare, Rural Development, Public Health Engineering, Power, Education, Forest, and Agriculture. Sub-Divisional Officers and Block Development Officers are leading Block-Level Implementation Teams to coordinate on-ground efforts.
At the inaugural camp in Tuibong, about 12 government departments set up service stalls, offering a single-window platform for citizens to access a wide range of schemes and documentation services. This setup enabled attendees to address multiple administrative needs in one visit.
Residents visiting the camps can avail themselves of key services and entitlements such as Citizens attending these camps can avail themselves of essential documents and services such as Aadhaar, Ration Cards, Ayushman Bharat Cards, caste and domicile certificates, Kisan Credit Cards (KCC), PM-KISAN benefits, Jan Dhan accounts, insurance coverage under PMJJBY/PMSBY, social security pensions, employment schemes like MGNREGA, and maternal and child welfare benefits, including immunizations.
The campaign spans all seven subdivisions of the district, beginning in Tuibong (June 16–21), followed by Churachandpur town (June 18–20), and reaching more remote blocks like Samulamlan, Henglep, Singngat, Sangaikot, and ending in Saikot on June 30.
Calling for broad public participation, Deputy Commissioner Dharun Kumar S stated, “Your cooperation and involvement are essential in making the campaign a success.”
With large-scale inter-departmental collaboration and robust turnout at the launch event, the district administration is hopeful that Dharti Aaba Abhiyan will set a benchmark in inclusive governance and last-mile service delivery.
