A spiritually enriching Christian Book Fair, organized by Beautiful Books—the literature ministry of the Layman’s Evangelical Fellowship headquartered in Chennai—was inaugurated today at Parazeau Maranatha Academy, Kangpokpi. The event was formally opened by Rev. Paolenlal Singson, Pastor of Chongthu Baptist Church Kangpokpi, who cut the inaugural ribbon in the presence of church leaders, school authorities, and enthusiastic visitors.

Beautiful Books, known for reaching regions where Christian literature is scarce, has brought a carefully curated collection of Bibles and faith-based books to Kangpokpi. The fair will continue until Saturday, the 29th of this month, after which the team will carry the ministry to other locations.

The exhibition showcases an extensive range of books tailored for all age groups and spiritual needs—children’s literature, youth resources, devotionals, discipleship materials, theology texts, marriage counseling books, pastors’ aids, commentaries, dictionaries, and an impressive assortment of Bibles. Various versions and translations, including major local-language Bibles, are also available.

A unique strength of the fair lies in its strict selection process. At a time when misinformation and misleading content have increasingly entered even Christian spaces, Beautiful Books ensures that only doctrinally sound and spiritually trustworthy materials reach the readers.

“Our aim is not just to conduct a book fair,” said Pastor Daniel, Manager of Beautiful Books. “We want to ensure that no one is misled or misguided in their spiritual journey. Every single book here has been prayerfully chosen so that readers may grow, be strengthened, and be blessed. Whatever book you buy here will surely be a blessing to you.”

The inaugural day saw an impressive turnout, with people actively browsing and purchasing books and Bibles. Organisers expressed gratitude for the overwhelming response and encouraged the public to explore the rare and valuable resources made available during the fair.

With its thoughtful selection and mission-driven approach, the Christian Book Fair is poised to become a valuable spiritual resource for the community in the days ahead.
