AICC In-Charge for Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan Harkara Venugopal Rao Says Congress Will Never Sink

All India Congress Committee (AICC) Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan in charge for Imphal and Churachandpur districts, Harkara Venugopal Rao, on Wednesday said, “Congress will never sink, will not sink at all. Congress will bounce back to power across the country. State by state, we will capture.”

Harkara Venugopal Rao, who is also Advisor to the Government (Protocol and Public Relations), Government of Telangana, made the statement during his visit to Churachandpur district in Manipur as part of the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan, which aims to reinforce the Congress party’s organisational structure across the country.

Speaking to the media, the Congress leader said the Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra undertaken by Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi from Kanyakumari to Kashmir had received a tremendous response from the people.

He said Congress is committed to the downtrodden, Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, minorities, and the welfare of women. “In a state like Telangana, people were laughing at the Congress, but the party came back with a thumping majority,” he added.

“Wherever we lost, Congress leaders are focusing on the issues of people’s concern. We are striving hard to regain the confidence of the people. We have confidence in the people.”

Venugopal also said that state by state, the Congress is going to strengthen the reformative system under the Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan.

“As far as Manipur is concerned, the Congress will surely form the government in the ensuing election,” the Congress leader said while adding that the present government has totally failed in controlling the systems and failed in discharging their jobs. The congress leader will be in the district for seven days and he will be intereacting with congress workers.
