The Mukhti Marathon Challenge and the Chillax Idol formed the major highlights of the college’s grand annual fest, CHILLAX 2025 – “Unleash the Spark”, a three-day celebration of creativity, talent, and youth empowerment.

The Flag-Off Ceremony of the Mukhti Marathon Challenge took place at Thomas Ground, Kangpokpi, where Melody Varte, Community Social Worker, Oasis India, delivered an inspiring address urging youths to be torchbearers in the fight against child and human trafficking.

Pastor Janggin Chongloi, Vice Chairman of KTCF, led the invocation prayer, while Lamminal Simte, MCS, Assistant Commissioner, Kangpokpi and SDO/BDO Champhai — who also serves as the District Social Welfare Officer, Kangpokpi — graced the flag-off ceremony.

More than 200 participants joined the marathon, which began at Brig. M. Thomas Ground and concluded at the Oasis College campus via Mission Compound, covering an approximate distance of 7 km.

The Reception and Prize Distribution Ceremony was held at the college campus, where Lhunninlal Khongsai, MPS/SDPO Kangpokpi, and Nodal Officer, Anti-Human Trafficking Unit, Kangpokpi Police, presented the prizes to the winners in the presence of Lamminlal Simte, MCS.

The event was powered by Oasis India, Punjab National Bank (PNB), Envision, and the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Manipur, symbolizing a united front in the fight against human exploitation.

The college management described the marathon as a “movement of hope and awakening.”

“This is more than a race — it’s a call to action against exploitation and a pledge to uphold humanity,” said an organizing member of the Chillax Committee.

Amid the electrifying atmosphere of Oasis College’s much-celebrated Chillax 2025, one event captured the heart of the audience — the Chillax Idol, a spectacular singing competition that brought the crowd to its feet and stole the spotlight at the college’s annual festival.

The stage came alive with dazzling lights, thunderous cheers, and passionate performances as talented students from across departments competed for the coveted title.
