
The District Administration, Churachandpur, today organised the Sampoornata Abhiyan Samman Samaroh at the District Training Centre, Tuibong, to honour the contributions of frontline workers, Self-Help Groups (SHGs), and officials towards achieving saturation in key development indicators under the Sampoornata Abhiyan.
Deputy Commissioner Dharun Kumar S., who graced the occasion as Chief Guest, commended the efforts of officials from Lamka South and Tuibong blocks, along with line departments, for their role in improving the quality of life and accelerating economic growth in underdeveloped areas. He informed that the Lamka South block has achieved 100% saturation in six key performance indicators, placing it among only 91 blocks across the country to reach this milestone. Tuibong block has also made significant achievements, achieving saturation in four out of six parameters.
Certificates of appreciation were distributed to officials, individuals, and groups who contributed to achieving saturation in the following indicators: health and nutrition, education, agriculture and water resources, financial inclusion, skill development, and basic infrastructure.
As part of the programme, the Deputy Commissioner launched Akankha Haat, a district-level marketplace aimed at promoting local entrepreneurship and showcasing products developed by SHG members. Locally made items were displayed during the event.
A cultural performance by students of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya (JNV), Tuinom, added colour to the programme and highlighted the cultural vibrancy of the region.
The event was attended by district-level officers, Village Authority representatives, Civil Society Organisations (CSOs), SHG members, and frontline workers. (DIO Ccpur)
