Durand Cup 2025 Trophy Tour to Kick Off in Imphal on July 10

As part of the promotional events of the 134^th Edition of the Durand Cup 2025 (Imphal Chapter), the Trophy Tour (Road Show) in the presence of Saikhom Mirabai Chanu, Indian Weightlifter and other High Ranking Army Officers, is scheduled to begin at 10.30 AM on 10^th July 2025 (Thursday) from Sendra, Loktak Lake, and will traverse prominent routes across Imphal City, culminating at the City Convention Centre, Imphal. The Trophy Showcasing Ceremony will be graced by the Hon’ble Governor of Manipur, Shri Ajay Kumar Bhalla and Chief Secretary, Government of Manipur, Shri Prashant Kumar Singh, at the City Convention Centre following the conclusion of the tour.

Durand Cup 2025 (134^th Edition) will run from 23^rd July to 23^rd August 2025. The President of India Smt Droupadi Murmu officially flagged off the trophies at the Rashtrapati Bhavan on July 4^th 2025.

Imphal is all set to witness a thrilling football showdown as Group F matches featuring teams viz. TRAU FC, NEROCA FC, INDIAN NAVY FT, and REAL KASHMIR FC—at the iconic Khuman Lampak Main Stadium.

Football fans can look forward to six intense matches spread across seven dates, beginning 30th July (Wednesday), followed by 1st August (Friday), 4th August (Monday), 7th August (Thursday), 10th August (Sunday), and concluding on 12th August (Tuesday). All matches are scheduled to start at 4:00 PM, promising high-energy action and fierce competition.

The Imphal Chapter is expected to draw large crowds, with supporters turning up in full force to cheer for their favourite teams.
