The Kuki Revolutionary Army has categorically denied the allegations and reports circulating in certain news and social media platforms linking the organization to the killings in Kailenjang on September 26 .
Kuki Revolutionary Army issued a statement on Monday and alleged that “the killing is clearly between the naga themselves with a strong suspicion involving the Liangmai Community aiming to bring the Mao and Paomei community into the conflict against the Kuki community while tarnishing the name of KRA in particular”.
Stating that matters of this nature should be established on the basis of verified facts and evidence, KRA requested members of the public, media organisations, and all concerned parties to refrain from circulating unverified information or attributing involvement to the organisation without factual evidence.
The organization also extends its deepest sympathies to the grieving family while giving full support to the concern authorities in carrying out fair and impartial investigation and brings the perpetrator to justice.
