Th. Brinda, former Sekmai MLA, former BJP candidate from Lilong and 8 others join Manipur Congress

Former additional SP NAB Manipur and former candidate of Yaiskul assembly in the last assembly election Thounaojam Brinda, former MLA of Sekmai Kh. Devendro Singh, former BJP candidate from Lilong and former Chairperson of the Manipur State Minorities Commission M. Anwar Hussain and eight others joined Manipur congress on Sunday.

Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee organized a reception programme at Congress Bhavan in Imphal which was attended by MPCC President and former Chief Minister Okram Ibobi Singh, Lok Sabha MP Angomcha Bimol Akoijam, Congress MLAs, former Ministers, former MLAs and senior party leaders.

Others who joined the congress are Th. Oxford Singh, retired DSO/FCS from Thongju; Longjam Suranjoy Singh, retired Assistant General Manager of IUCB from Keirao; Yenkhom Sanjeep Singh, retired Assistant Commandant of CRPF from Thangmeiband; Laishram Sashibhushan, Senior Advocate of the Manipur High Court from Uripok; B. Sarat Sharma, retired Associate Professor from Yaiskul; . Gambhir Singh, former Executive Engineer, Power Department, Manipur, from Sekmai; Md. Nasir Khan, former Government teacher from Lilong; and Col. Mohd. Sahid Khan (Retd.) from Lilong.
