Manipur Chief Minister Invites Kuki Zo Council for Talks

The Government of Manipur has formally invited the Kuki Zo Council for a crucial meeting with the Chief Minister to discuss measures for restoring peace and normalcy in Manipur.

According to an official letter issued by the office of the Chief Minister on March 17, addressed to Kuki Zo Council Chairman Henlianthang, the members of Kuki Zo Council were invited for a meeting schedule for March 21 in Guwahati.

The letter stated that the meeting aims to discuss matters related to bringing back peace and normalcy in Manipur.

The Chief Minister Yumnam Khemchand has requested the presence of the chairman along with other members of the council for the discussion. The communication further sought confirmation from the Kuki Zo Council regarding their participation in the meeting.
